Quarterly Invest in Huntingdonshire Intermediary Network

On Tuesday 23rd April we hosted the quarterly Invest in Huntingdonshire Intermediary Network event at Brampton Park Golf Club.

The Economic Development team met with colleagues from across a range of business sectors including Commercial Property, Legal, Accountancy, Banking and Finance.

We were joined by Mike Gildersleeves, Huntingdonshire District Council's new Corporate Director for Place who fielded questions from the audience related to future ambitions and growth in Huntingdonshire as well as responding to questions and constrictive feedback from some of our key stakeholders.

The most colourful presentation of the evening, definitely belonged to Hayley Williams of Keystone St Neots who outlined her commissioned work on behalf of the Invest team - stay tuned to Linkedin and other channels to learn more about our brand new campaign, Connect Grow and Flourish.

To tail things off we updated the audience about the Councils 2050 visioning project, Huntingdonshire Futures with a very special announcement being made by Huntingdonshire District Council this Thursday 25th April which also happens to be Huntingdonshireday.

And, finally, we covered the latest Economic Data release conducted by the Centre for business research at Cambridge Judge Business School commissioned by Cambridge Ahead and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority.
The data highlighted excellent growth in job numbers and turnover, Huntingdonshire leading the way with the highest Knowledge Intensive turnover growth in the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough region.
