Webtec, the St Ives hydraulic measurement and control specialist, has won the International Trade Award in this year’s prestigious Manufacturer MX Awards, in partnership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

The company was presented with the award at the recent awards ceremony held at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool and beat companies from all around the UK, impressing the judges with its initial entry and subsequent in-person business presentation.

This is a great achievement for Webtec and its team, particular as this year the company is also celebrating 60 years in the industry.

Ethan Green, trainee Manufacturing Engineer at Webtec’s UK facility was also a finalist for the Young Manufacturer of the Year, which was a great achievement.

On winning the award, Martin Cuthbert, Webtec’s Managing Director commented, “Webtec is celebrating its 60th year as a UK manufacturer of hydraulic measurement and control products improving the performance of hydraulic machinery worldwide. Winning this award is a testament to the hard work of the whole Webtec team who work tirelessly to support and grow our distribution in the UK and worldwide.
