Four Huntingdonshire Parks Awarded Green Flag Status

Our stunning parks have just been awarded the prestigious Green Flag Award status! With 4 parks across Huntingdonshire being recognised: St Neots Riverside Park winning its first Award, Priory Park earned its eighth consecutive award, and both Paxton Pits Nature Reserve and Hinchingbrooke Country Park secured their seventh consecutive awards.

The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world. The news that these sites have achieved this accreditation is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team at Huntingdonshire District Council that care for the green space so that visitors and residents alike can enjoy it.

These parks are perfect for the communities in Huntingdonshire to socialise, enjoy nature and for family and children to play safely. They also provide important opportunities for park users to improve their physical and mental health.
